Djerba, Tunisia · 24–30 Dec 2026

Terms & conditions

The whole agreement, in the same English we use everywhere else on this site. Two things matter most, so they are up here as well as below: you pay in full to hold a seat, and you can cancel for a full refund any time before 1 November 2026.

1Who you are dealing with

Sylergy, London. We run the AI Engineering Bootcamp on Djerba, Tunisia, from 24–30 December 2026. These terms cover that week. They are written in plain English on purpose — if a sentence here is unclear, that is our fault, so ask and we will fix the wording.

2What it costs

A seat is £599 per person. Book before 1 November 2026 and you take £100 off, so you pay £499. The discount goes on when you pay, not when you apply.

That price includes six nights in the villa, the workspace and coffee, breakfast and dinner every day, the island excursion, the guided quad trip on the 29th, 5 days of mentoring, and 4 weeks of drop-in office hours after you fly home.

It does not include flights, travel insurance, lunches, anything you spend in town, or the cost of a visa if your passport needs one.

3Paying, and what actually holds your seat

Payment is in full, in one go. We do not take deposits.

There are eight seats. Applying does not hold one, and neither does being accepted after the call — your seat is held when your payment reaches us, and seats go in the order they are paid for.

4If you change your mind

Before 1 November 2026: tell us and you get a full refund. No reason needed, no fee. It goes back to the card or account you paid from, within 14 days.

On or after 1 November 2026: we cannot refund you. By then the villa, the food and the excursions are booked and paid for on your behalf, whether or not you come.

You can, however, pass your seat to someone else. Introduce them, they do the same fifteen-minute call, and if the week fits what they want to build we switch the name over at no charge. The money stays with the seat — settling up between the two of you is your business, not ours.

5If we have to cancel

You get back every penny you have paid us. That is unconditional.

What we cannot give back is money you have spent with other people — flights above all. That is exactly the situation travel insurance exists for, which is why we ask you to have it.

6The island excursion and the quad trip

Both are included and both are weather- and safety-dependent. If we judge that either cannot run safely, we will put something else on instead. Neither is separately refundable — they are part of the week, not line items.

Quad bikes carry obvious risk. You ride them at your own risk, you follow the operator’s instructions and safety equipment, and you do not ride under the influence of anything. If you would rather not ride, say so and we will plan something else for you.

7Office hours afterwards

4 weekly drop-in sessions, starting the first week of January. They are group calls, not private tuition. Come to all four or none — either way they are part of the price and missing them is not refundable. If something outside our control means a session cannot run, we move it rather than drop it.

8Flights and getting there

Flights are yours to book, in your name, on your card. We are not a travel agent, we take no commission, and we cannot be responsible for what an airline does — delays, cancellations, missed connections or lost bags.

We will gladly tell you which route we would take from your city. That is advice, not a guarantee: check the schedule with the airline before you pay for anything.

If travel trouble means you arrive late or miss days, your seat is still yours and we will catch you up — but we cannot refund the days you missed.

9Passports, visas and entry

Getting yourself legally into Tunisia is your responsibility. Check your own government’s advice for the passport you hold, and check it early.

We will send you a confirmation letter with the villa address once your seat is paid, since border officers can ask for proof of where you are staying. If you are refused entry, that counts as a cancellation and the dates above apply.

10Travel insurance

Not included, and we strongly recommend it — cancellation and medical cover at the very least. Arrange it when you book the flight rather than the night before you fly.

11Living together for a week

Everyone stays together in the villa and works in the same space. If someone makes that unsafe or unworkable for everyone else, we can ask them to leave, and in that case there is no refund.

We have never had to do this and we do not expect to. It is here so everyone knows where the line is.

12What you build is yours

You own the code you write and whatever it turns into. We claim no share of it, no licence over it, and no stake in any company that comes out of it.

We may mention that you were there and what you built, the way anyone talks about a good week. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will not.

13Photos and video

We take photos and video during the week and use them to describe the bootcamp afterwards. Tell us at any point — before or during — that you would rather not be in them, and we will keep you out of the shots.

14What we are responsible for

We are responsible for running the week we have described: the accommodation, the food, the workspace, the excursions, the mentoring and the office hours. If we get that wrong, tell us and we will put it right or refund the part we did not deliver.

We are not responsible for knock-on losses — earnings you did not make, opportunities you missed, or plans that changed. Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here affects the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

15Your data

When you apply we store your name, your email address, the experience level you picked and what you tell us about your AI upskilling journey and what you hope to get from the bootcamp. We use them to run your application and to talk to you about the bootcamp. We do not sell them and we do not pass them to anyone else.

Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will.

16Changes, questions, and the law

We may update these terms before you pay. The version in force when you pay is the one that applies to you, and we will not change it afterwards without your agreement.

Questions about any of this: apply and bring them to the short call — we reply to every application within 48 hours. Ask before you pay, not after — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
